Material Used/Technique: Paper cutting and folding

Employing the precise technique of paper cutting and folding, I created a piece that illustrates how dynamic this method can be. I have used two photographs - one taken during the day, full of excitement with bright colours and people smiling all around, and the other at night, when nearly no one is there and everything is peaceful. Inspired by how light and shadows interact with this technique, I juxtaposed these contrasting pictures and carefully planned which areas I would cut out to reveal the opposite moods that the image conveyed.
