During a visit to Shimla, India - a place that is also nicknamed the "Queen of Hills", I was captivated by the twinkling from the houses on the mountain slope. All of these houses are constructed unplanned, but when looked at from far, they make a synchronised whole. The cluster of lights appeared to me like fireflies illuminating the night with their soft glow. I then created a 3D structure to mimic what I had seen. The houses, lit from within by fairy lights, have been made with multi-coloured ivory paper and glued onto a thermocol frame which offers structural integrity.
